The 2008 Beijing Olympics this past August hold many memorable moments. From the opening ceremonies to Michael Phelps’ legendary performance in the swimming pool accounting for nearly one-fourth of the US’s gold medals, records were set and dreams were shattered.
As with most Olympics, some performances were overshadowed. That event in Beijing was the gold medal game for men’s basketball according to ESPN columnist, Bill Simmons.
